The StateServ Story


What happens when a passion for helping hospice meets true innovation? A new company is born.


The sincerity and passion with which StateServ approaches its mission is a reflection of our history. StateServ was first formed in 2004, inspired by an adverse DME experience that our co-founder witnessed when a member of his family was on hospice. Determined to help hospice providers, their patients, and the families avoid such unfortunate incidents in the future, he helped form StateServ Medical, staffing it with an executive team that was highly knowledgeable and experienced in both information technology and operations. Their goal was to create a system that would specifically address the shortcomings of DME services to hospices that existed at the time.

Beginning first as a physical DME delivery service, StateServ began by providing high-quality and reliable equipment to hospice patients in Tempe, Arizona. The desire for a company that understood the needs of hospices was evident in StateServ’s quick expansion, as its physical delivery services were soon operating in Nevada, Colorado, Oregon, New Mexico, Alabama, and Florida.

As the company expanded, they continued to seek out new ways to meet the DME needs of hospices nationwide, and in 2010 we launched our DME Benefit Management Service, known more familiarly as StateServ Network Services. The StateServ Network was based on a simple idea that required StateServ’s track record of success and organizational know-how. Through it, we contract with local DME providers across the country to provide nationwide DME services with the quality and reliability that hospices have come to associate with the StateServ name. Together with StateServ’s licensed DMETrack software, the StateServ Network and DME Services provide the full spectrum of DME services, management, access, and technology that have revolutionized the industry.
